Imagename: | New columns in Doriam Avenue, Huntington |
Image Description: | Now that the new lanterns on Doriam Drive are working, the next street along has had four new columns installed to replace two 1980's type concrete columns that are situated along the middle section of the street. The new columns are 6m, and are untopped at present. One image shows the only new column that is directly next to the old column. The middle image of the three is looking down the road - as new column 1 is behind the camera on the right, new column 2 is in the foreground and is a considerable distance from the column it is replacing, column 3 is the one in the other picture and is directly next to the old column (on the right hand side by the parked cars), and new column 4 is at the far end of the road on the corner. The first image is looking from Doriam Drive, and shows the new columns going down the road with QSS's on top (running SON lamps) - Doriam Avenue goes off to the left, and if you look to the left of the concrete column in the foreground you can see the new column 1 (which looks as though it is replacing the old Stanton 7 column, but that is already disconnected having been replaced by the new columns along Doriam Drive) |
