Image Description: | Various pictures of the small Syracause lantern in various installations in York IMAGE 3 Image 1 is a replacement for an old cast iron column in Osbaldwick (the castie previously had a WRTL 2600 fitted, and would have been a Beta 5 prior to that... original lantern unknown) Image 2 is a casual replacement for a failed QSM on Field Lane near the new University campus. This road was only re-aligned about 18 months ago, and a QSM had already failed in that time. Image 3 (and 4) is a casual replacement for a generic side entry lantern on a slimline concrete column. The column will be no older than the mid 1970's... and the previous lantern will have been a side entry SOX such as the Phillips XGS103 in the background. |
