The large AC Ford Control Box houses the fuse for the street lighting switch wire. However it is rarely used these days as all lanterns have there own control boxes with cut-outs in. That is the small white box just above the large green one. The taped up cell can also be seen - this dates from when group switched SOX dominated.
Now most of the overhead network is wired with insulated cables and no street lighting line so each lantern is individually switched.
