11 - Another lantern with a Fascinator fitted, this time it's a ZX2 near Deganwy
12 - An eleco 55w SOX lantern in Deganwy. Picture taken from a moving open top bus.
13 - A GEC 'boat' lantern originally for 60w SLI/H lamps now runs SOX. This example is in Deganwy, but there are a few of these around Llandudno Junction and Conwy.
14 and 15 - Urbis Albanys on Crook brackets light up the walkway along the west shore. these ones have a nice sunset backdrop.
16 - An Albany in front of the Snowdonia National Park
17 - Another Thorn Riga. Again, this has been installed on a sawn-back concrete bracket. Originally this would have been a top entry bracket that held a GEC Z5580 with acorn bowl running a mercury lamp. GEC column
18, 19, 20 - Examples of the original GEC Z5580 lanterns with acorn bowls on GEC columns. All of these run mercury lamps and are still in nightly service

Re: GEC Boats. Although these lanterns are still fairly numerous in Deganwy and Conwy, with many still retaining their original bowls, a recent visit (Aug 2014) indicates that a few are now being replaced by LEDs. I suspect all minor road lighting in the area will be heading this way in due course.
