I've read it. Very good advice there for both members and guests reading this board.

This has been on the Admin side of things for a week or two whilst we discussed how to word things and what to include. Every person on the management team has had an input to the content on this page, and so this is a group effort. Collectors don't necessarily have to change how they collect, but this page is there to give words of advice.

I've read it twice, so that I am familiar with the changes.

Could a PDF version be done, so that if a collector was given the green light by senior management, we would have a suitable document to show them which explains what we (collector) do. If I do find anything which is interesting and it's not on council land, I will contact the relevant parties to seek permission for removal.

There may be a way to alter layout for "print mode" so that when somebody prints out the document it is laid out different to how you see it on the web... but I'd have to look in to that first. Something that isn't in the document is a reference for attempting to get WEEE registered, or to get an exemption... I am wondering about it as to whether I could get exempt so as to handle street lighting as "use of waste for a specified purpose" - because if that is possible then places won't be able to blurt out WEEE as the stop-all response.
