Does anyone know where i can find a sutable replacement gasket for an AEI Amber?

Even if it ment having to improvise making a new one.

An improvise could be foam sealant strip for door frames.

Remember that broken Arc at the AMEY depot that I stripped the stuff out of? I got the gasket from it and said "this may be useful for another lantern at some time"... I can't help but feel slightly smug at that forethought!

Lantern gaskets of that vintage would have originally been of felt. Some lanterns like the GEC Z8430 used asbestos..

The best bet is to use draught excluder as Mazeteam states. I use the "posh" version of this from RS -neoprene foam strips which is a high density foam, not cheap though.
