Hi All, It is with regrest that I am posting to inform all members that the Winter 2012/13 POTS competition has been cancelled. This is due to nowhere near enough interest in submitting entries. Whilst I did like the photo entry from Scott15, and would like to see it or something of similar composition submitted again for another winter-themed competition, we cannot hold a competition with just one photo! And it is also unfair for the competition to go ahead simply by me putting a photo in to run against the only other entry there. I would to remind everybody that when a new thread goes up for submissions for POTS photos, that anybody can enter a photo using the link provided. Because of a previous decline in quality and interest in these competitions, we reduced the number of competitions from monthly to just 4 a year plus the festive special - and it will be sad if these competitions close down completely because of a lack of interest (as this would also mean no photographs on the Ukastle home page). |

I would have entered, but becuase of camera problems this ment that I could not retrive the photo from the camera. I am now hoping that I should have a new camera in readiness for the next competition. |
