I've had a bit of a search and I can say it is most likely (60%) to be a Phosco P107.

Not the best image, but a cast iron column with replacement bracket and possibly a Beta 5 from Cobham Surrey from this weeks Location, Location.

Before Google SV came along this programme was always good for checking out what streetlighting installations were used around the UK.

I saw a REVO Sol D'or on swan neck on one episode! And they were moving from that street, that would be enough to keep me there

If that was me and I really had to move I would advertise my house for sale on here with that information as a selling point! I reckon I'd sell it in no time  

On BBC 1 right now is a film called Buster featuring Phil Collins.

The lantern which have been shown is a concrete stanton column (similar to the ones near me) with a GEC Z5580 attached.

Anyone else notice the big white curved column/streetlights with what looks like an "integral" MH lamp on the end in South Africa from the world cup footage? They look "unusual" but quite contemporary.

South Today this evening reported on the Aldershot IRA bombing, and there was a good long bit of footage from the modern day showing an old CU 25ft arched and finned column with an Alpha 9 on it.
