I've found a glut of interesting York bus photos from round the 1960's-70's

http://www.flickr.com/photos/96859208@N ... 95046@N04/A good photo of Rougier Street before the General Accident (now Aviva) massive office block was built, AND before the one way loop was instated. At this time too, York had two railway stations - the sign on the railings about the 'car sleeper loading dock' motorail platforms would have been pointing to the old station within the city walls. Beyond the 2nd halfcab double decker is a green column, and you can just about make out a cranked half circle bracket and top entry lantern. This photo is BEFORE 1962 as there's no wall brackets with GEC Z8430's fitted.
