A small part of Stratford-Upon-Avon is home to an eclectic mix of heritage lighting. Each installation is unique and has been donated from a different Local Authority. I managed to take a picture of a damaged installation along a footpath through the park:

I'll link you GSV shots of the rest. Have ago at trying to match the coats of arms to the city, county or even country (I appreciate many of the plaques are a little blurred). Start here and keep heading right along Riverside until you get to this gem or this rare one directly opposite. Lantern identifications are welcome.

Generally speaking, a lot of the columns/lanterns are similar in Riverside albeit in different colours. The mix is far more varied if you walk along the footpath in the park. This example donated by Israel is one of the more unique installations! How about the American donation? Or this one from Brugge in a lovely shade of plum?

During 2010 the lampposts were temporarily removed for restoration as this article explains.

The lantern there is a Revo 'Leicester' for 500w tungsten lamps.... but it seems to have dissappeared here:

Most of the other lanterns are modern reproductions - even the one donated from Israel. The Brugge one is authentic though.

I'm liking this green one though - especially with the blue one next to it.

Sadly the white balance isn't great and so it is hard to see the plaques.... if you spot one with a couple of angry looking Owls either side of the coat of arms, then that's Leeds!

I may be wrong, but this looks an awful lot like a Mckenzie & Moncour column & bracket

Here's the american Acorn lantern

I couldn't identify any of the coats of arms... not helped because most of the time the SV images don't line up with the columns. From the shapes though I didn't see York on any of them. I didn't see the blue and white Hull standard either.... Hull have probably got all theirs still working there to be able to send any to Stratford!
It's good too see column variety like that... but it's a shame the lanterns are Repro's and not a bit more unique.
