I have updated my Flickr site with over 120 pictures from Basingstoke. Many of the installations have now been replaced by the PFI. Also included are photos of the very first PFI installations from 2 years ago - themseleves now also changed.

Just found this on the Chalmit website.

http://www.chalmit.com/more/on/details/00052

The name "Starline" seems to have been reused as Davis made the Starline 70 then Chalmit made the GR70 (an updated version of the Starline).

That looks suspiciously like the CU Phosco P680 to me... in fact it is!

Just found this website:
http://www.jw-uk-ltd.co.uk/

Some unusual lantern adaptions there, including a globe with a floodlight in the upper hemisphere. Another lantern there looks a lot like some installed along Blackpool promenade.

Its a shame that its no longer being updated, its one of the many fantastic sites that show restored gems. Its also helped me in choosing a particular colour for a particular lantern for example my Z5590.

Discussions about the felled Stanton columns at the former Bevercotes Colliery mentioned in Mike Barford's site have been moved to the vandalism topic in the chat section.

This topic is for informing Ukastle members about updates to websites with a lighting connection/theme/interest.

I forgot to respond to this: a great website and Phosco152 has now kindly added it to the external links page. The UK show room image on their home page is brilliant!
