Simon Cornwell has updated his site.

The section on the Alpha 5 is well worth a look, with a wealth of technical detail on its mechanical and optical design (elements of which have not previously been available), as well as details of his own example.

In addition, some of the manufacturers pages have been subtly updated with a new look on the "full range" link - the Eleco pages are one such example.

I set up this site back early in 2012. I haven't updated it very much and only remembered it on Saturday. I would now post my discoveries here, and some off-topic videos aswell. There's a links section so PM me if you would like your site added to mine.

Sorry about the kibble in the url; I was a bit of an internet troll back then.

I'll beat Phosco152 to it by announcing that Mike's website has been updated at long last!

UKASTLE has also Tweeted about it.

For those who aren't aware, Mike from streetlightonline has a street lighting playlist on YouTube.

I'm liking this image... which seems to show the WRTL 2000 lantern is now being offered as LED...

Hi All,

I have been busy doing a few updates to my website which I would like to share with you. The updates are an Opalo 3 and Phosco P700 in the Metal halide section, I have also updated the Auto switching section with the Horstmann sensors. http://www.plasticplanet.co.uk/StreetLighting.html

Regards,

Andrew.

I don't want to sound dramatic, but the subscription of the domain name on the MCSL website is up for renewal, and at nearly £60 subs renewal I'm considering calling it a day. I haven't been able to update it since 2010, but your thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Claire,

£60 is a lot of money for the website, however, there are some fantastic examples on your site, I use it quite a bit for reference to lanterns. I like the way you list all the examples at the start of each manufacturer then show the pictures. It would be a shame to lose it.

Regards,

Andrew.
