This Iridium was blown off its column last week, it is the column next to where my A2000 fell. The Iridium was installed about two years back when a tree came down on top of the former column supporting an A2000. I managed to salvage the gear and the lamp holder but that was about all intact.

A couple of Iridiums have had their canopies blown off here, but other than that, I don't think there's been much other damage.

Photocell, which looks in good condition and Nema socket could have been salvaged.

I would have probably got the gasket seal too, those come in useful now and then on various projects. Was that Iridium a Cosmo one, or SON?

SON, and yeah I didn't think of that might pop back and pick it up, the only reason I didn't get the Nema socket was because I didn't have a screw driver on me.

During the severe wind last Wednesday evening, a High Mast was blown down on the A64/A6120 roundabout in Leeds.

I wonder if the column had a structural flaw, as it seems quite an extreme outcome... over here in York I haven't yet seen one lantern with even a canopy blown off.

I'm not sure. I saw posts on social media about it happening and when I drove by,  the lantern ring was at ground level on one column. I can't find much information out about it.

All that happened in Bolton last week was that one of the concrete columns on the A666 (St Peters way) got blown down.

There's loads of damaged lanterns in Kent

I'll try and get some photo's

There's a Phosco P178 with it's canopy dangling in the wind, Amazingly it still works. There's a couple of circa 2008 columns on the re-aligned part of the A2 that are damaged from the wind. There's also a Arc on Watling Street (A2) with it's canopy completely gone. And there's a couple of Urbis Albany's that are twisted in Strood

Like I said, I'll try and get some photos
