I would say radio frequency systems compensate for the clock changes, given that lighting is ultimately controlled by a central computer. Southampton and Hampshire use the Mayflower Central Management System (CMS), but even though we are supposed to be getting part night dimming (which doesn't seem evident), the effects of dimming are less pronounced than part night lighting used in West Sussex.

No problem ,

It'll be nice to look back at this in the summer and compare switching times.

I will maybe include the earliest and latest switching times on my website.

Regards,

Andrew.

Tuesday 20-01         16:39:15
Wednesday 21-01          16:40:31
Thursday 22-01         16:42:42
Friday 23-01         16:44:27
Saturday 24-01         16:46:21
Sunday 25-01        16:49:25

Hi All,

I can't believe it was 5 months ago since I last posted a message on this topic. As we enter the first week in June, here are the switching on times for the shed light.

Wed 27-05  -  21:27:16
Thu 28-05  -  21:29:32
Fri 29-05  -  21:30:54
Sat 30-05  -  21:31:48
Sun 31-05  -  21:33:24
Mon 01-06  -  21:34:34

As can be seen there has been a big change between then and now.

Regards,

Andrew.

Hi All,

Here is how the Sangamo time clock switching pattern this week.

Off A.M 08:10:56   08:10:39    08:11:25    08:10:57    08:09:28    08:10:25    08:09:56
On P.M 15:59:43     16:00:38     16:02:08   16:03:10   16:02:47      16:03:27     16:04:40

As can be seen the clock switched on after 16:00 this week, nights are getting lighting :)

Regards,

Andrew

My street is group switched from a central point, one of those SELC digital solar clocks. I think the switch time moves 2 minutes each night.
