Here is a list of street lighting PFIs currently in operation. Due to long running issues and contractual disagreements, the Birmingham highways PFI is being terminated with contractor Amey paying £215 million to get out of the contract. As a result, management of the street lighting will transfer back to a more traditional contractual model. |
