Hi all, I'm proud to announce the launch of my new website, http://www.soxlamps.org, today ... continuing my desire to have a reference source for SOX lighting and supporting its use in streetlighting. I've taken my material from my former soxlamps.com website, and mattheweagles.co.uk (which is still being run in parallel), and reorganised the presentation, adding/updating some content also. I wanted to return to having a website name that will appeal to people using search engines to find information on SOX lamps, while emphasising the non-commercial nature with the .org suffix. The angle of this new website is to promote SOX as a streetlighting source, as it has many advantages which are often overlooked. Feel free to send your comments to me via the site, and I'm hoping in time to post people's comments. There are links back to UKASTLE's site where so many good photos of SOX streetlights are found.
