In Southfleet (Kent), this swan neck beauty always took my notice when I used to drive past it as a kid. As it's private land, the risk of replacement is very low. Despite not living in the area anymore, I can confirm it does light at night. It used to run SOX but I believe it's been swapped for a LED retrofit since.

They look so old they probably burned SLI lanterns long ago. I'm not good at remembering lantern identities and the image quality is poor., however I can confirm these still exist, though one of them has had an awkward floodlight retrofit.

The 2009 picture shows them clearly visible but go to 2021 and it has become a completely overgrown wilderness; however, they are still there. Why they're there and why they've never worked is a mystery to me. I think it may be a footpath. Strangely, the lighting on the corner also has never worked either, even the LED replacements were never switched on! They seem to be completely abandoned, the 104s at least.
