It looks like a small GEC Brick, but more rounded. This is one thing I'm quite enjoying about rise of the LED - a lot of the lanterns are resembling SOX ones.

I'm really hoping to see more SpeedStars in use on HA schemes for strategic roads.

We have just got a pallet full of new Holophane LEDgend lanterns for use in Plymouth's dockyard. These 120w lanterns are not like anything I've seen before and IMHO that's probably just as well...  :roll:

Yes, I'd agree that they more definitely look like desk lamps!

versalift09 - would these be used more for one-off architectural/urban lighting schemes?

A while back I posted about the P110/111 available in LED. Well it seems that P567A is also available in LED, which I hadn't realised. In fact, these have proved popular on trial runs in Derbyshire and as a result a large order has been placed.
