1B is Feb 71 or 91. Any pictures, especially of the Philips logo as that will help in determining which one it is?

I'm having issues uploading pictures. The page freezes and goes white.

The image may be too large. If it won't attach and won't go into gallery then email it and I'll put it on the server direct.

I've lost your email address so i've used my old Servimg account. Below are the photos, starting with the 125W Blacklight Mercury Lamps.

125W Philips Powerwhite lamps. I've only photographed one as both are the same.

Your blacklight appears to be July 92 and it is more likely your PowerWhite is Feb 71.

My latest lamps come straight from the Cold War era, quite literally. A box of Osram 250W MBF lamps, ex army surplus, originally destined for British forces based in Dortmund barracks, in the former West Germany. The NATO codification label shows they were taken into stores 12/08/80.

The lamps have a date stamp which translates to a manufacturing date of December 1979, which would tie up with the time taken to enter the logistics chain.

Despite my hectic work schedule, I found time to try out my newly aquired aquisitions - two 400W MB/U lamps.

Date code PD 1958 or 1982.

For the first time in who knows how long, this GEC Z8421 burns a Mercury lamp for which it was designed for:

The photos are not auto sizing and they will be ''zoomed in''. Click them and they will be adjusted properly.

A Thorn 50W SON lamp from I believe (the date stamp is smudged) May 1995, is my latest addition.

Hello All,

I am trying to identify an old SOX lamp with a porcelain cap, I believe it to be a 100W SOX lamp from Philips 126558 m4 (believe this to be a 100w SOX made in December 1964) the wattage rating has rubbed off.
Does anyone have anything similar or any info?
Many thanks John
