Not sure what this is but there are quite a few of them along the B6138

There's quite a few of them up at Cragg Vale, Calderdale. Possibly the only place which are still lit by Aureoles. There's also a Solumbra in Halifax on Skircoat Lane facing a bus depot.

Hello,
I was wondering if any of you know what kind of lanterns these are as they look very weird.

They are Phosco P75 lanterns - and quite rare now.

Cool thanks for identifying them, there's a whole cul-de-sac full of them I'll try and get some nighttime photos

On the end of this road, there is one of the square ones missing it's bowl and it looks like the bulb is either MBF or GLS.

If you go on the main road, the third pole and light have been removed  and not replaced and the fourth one is a bit broken.

On the main road Shepherds Way, are there some old Beta 2 lanterns?

I don't think that is a beta 2 because the clip on a beta 2 is on the front and the photocell is near the spigot.

I got my beta's mixed up. Maybe it's a beta 6?

Andrew.

They appear to be Philips MI80s.
