I got an old gem for you from the Grim's Dyke Hotel in Harrow, once a Manor House. The one pictured is the best I saw. The rest were either shells of SOX replacements or shells of the original Tungsten lanterns.

Just wondering if anyone can identify them and their likely age?

That looks like it could be a Coughtrie PW with a broken bowl. The Coughtrie PW is still in production, even though it has been around for decades.

I have seen quite a lot of the lanterns around Gloucester and there is also some in our local Aldi but I don't know the name of them. Does anybody know what these are please?

Around here these have started appearing with different coloured squares underneath, just behind the optic.

So far seen Red, Yellow and green squares... Any ideas what they squares are for/signify?

Perhaps it's a colour coding system for the street lighting crews to identify what wattage the lanterns are without having to look at the inventory or open the lantern up and look at the driver.
