Wakefield's are ZX's, Vectra's and I do believe that they are now using Sapphire's too.

Is that a typo, or does Oldham and Rochdale have a PFI??

Thanks - the top post has been edited accordingly.

I'm finding it hard to believe that Rochdale has a PFI... maybe they're focusing on Oldham instead. At the moment though, you can go anywhere in Rochdale and not find any evidence of a PFI. Hopefully there isn't a PFI either, because it would mean it's highly unlikely that the seagulls would get saved.

Blackpool's PFI uses Urbis - Evolvos mostly with Pianos in the back alleys and Cabrios in the tourist areas. Manchester's is Philips - Iridiums and Residiums.

I'd be surprised as they are two seperate authorities unless they've joined forces for the PFI like Hampshire, Southampton and West Sussex. I agree, it's a shame as Rochdale is full of ancient lighting (although I guess that's the reason they're doing a PFI   ).

Well if Oldham and Rochdale are counted as separate areas, then it must be Oldham with the PFI... as the original document is dated to 2009 - so if Rochdale does have a PFI from 2009 onwards, then it'd look a lot different to what it does now!

(Quite a hard sentence to construct! as I'm talking in both the past participle and the future if it had happened had a past event occurred).

I have been talking to Cambridge Council's lighting engineer about the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire PFI. It has just been awarded to Balfour Beaty and the actual work is expected to start later this year.

All the best,
Simon

I did a couple of alterations to the list earlier. Not all PFIs listed have started, and there was one missed out that I added.
