The ballast says 45, 60 and 85 w sodium leak transformer. I have taken a close up for you.

Hi all,

I have a gear tray from a Revo baby Dalek, this one has a 6534 ballast.

Regards,

Andrew.

Most likely, wasn't best pleased with myself but it was just the corner, and it doesn't affect the integrity of the fitting so I let it slide.

Hi,

I have done this too by using a too bigger screw driver. Porcelain connector strips are still available, we use them at work for the hot knifes and thermocouples on our machines. Although the thermocouple ones have to be the same metal as the thermocouple.

Regards,

Andrew.

Nice lantern in the OP. Watch those (ceramic?) terminal blocks if you ever do come to rewire it. I chipped the edge of one just like it in my Hyperion while re-wiring, I am guessing the heat gets to them over time and slowly knackers them, as it just happened while I was turning one of the screws.

I suppose this is early SOX, before it was re-classified at its current wattages? (I can't read the text on the ballast).

What wattage is your Hyperion C?

Regards,

Andrew

I have posted a photo of my 180w Revo ballast on "Ballasts for 135/180W SOX". This is what came with my Revo Hyperion c .

Regards,

Andrew.

Thanks for taking a picture of your leak transformer, it's a nice bit of kit. The one I got with my Hyperion is a Thorn, bought it at the same time from the same guy Phil, classic.lamps off ebay

My Hyperion is a 135 Watt'er, it sits perched up high in my living room

Hi,

That looks good on top of there plus it will give the room a nice warm glow. What number is your ballast?

Do you confirm that it is the same lantern as REVO Horizon Major ?
Link

I have taken this photo in Lleida (Spain) and it was marked IEP ILUMINACION

Link

Do you know some connections between REVO and foreign manufacturers ?
