Post subject:  Looking for Low Pressure Sodium Floodlights to Hire

Hi,

I'm looking to rent 6-8 Low Pressure Sodium fixtures for an event where our designer is looking for the specific monochromatic output only possible with SOX.

Does anyone out there have fixtures which they would be willing to hire or rent for a couple of weeks for our project? In an ideal world they'd be something along the lines of the photo below, but i'm open to suggestions!

Please let me know if anyone has any sources for hire or rental, or indeed if there are any distributors who are still selling LPS fixtures?

Many thanks in advance.

Low pressure sodium (SOX) floodlights are very hard to come by. However, street lighting lanterns are fairly easy to get hold of. I know there are a few up on eBay at the moment. I guess the question is what sort of light distribution you want. Do you just want the monochromatic light, or do you specifically want a single directed beam?
