Passed through Louth yesterday, to my suprise there are these GEC 'Bricks', facing the other way. The town centre is illuminated by heritage installations.

I found an unspoilt line of quite rare ELECO GR151s in Wolverhampton. Are there many survivors in this area as most of the lighting seems to be relatively new.
Another view. These look magnificent!

EDIT: Just noticed there's an Alpha 1 around the corner.

No less than 8 Alpha 1's... but I think it's actually 9!

The A53 that goes through this hamlet near Shawbury in Shopshire has a fair few Eleco HW11600s

I also found these main road fluorescent lanterns on the outskirts of Shrewsbury.

Well that Siemens Fluorescent is quite a find! especially when compared to the miniscule gatepost lantern....

In Tipton I have seen a street that was unspoilt with Alpha 1s. Not to sure if is this one as I didn't see the street's nameplate.

I have also spotted a GEC Clearmain near to the Black Country Museum. Unfortunatly because of a bus being in the way in the GSV link I am still linking it as its behind this building.

I think there's a fair few Alpha 1s still kicking around in decent numbers in Tipton. From the railway station there is a road just after crossing over the 2nd canal but before joining the road to Dudley there is a road which goes off a triangle that is almost solely lit by Alpha 1s.

Coventry is just about to loose it's last stretch of largely unspoilt Alpha 3s.
Just the ring road to go, then that's it for the old stock.
