New Axia 3 can be seen on Google around Avonmouth area of Bristol as that is the first area to receive them. https://maps.app.goo.gl/8kd8sN9NY8RsbAj79?g_st=ic

Interesting they are also replacing LED lanterns with Lumas and Amperas in Cabot Park being replaced. https://maps.app.goo.gl/NkG5ZF426Td4serW9?g_st=ic
A stretch of Smoke lane still has lumas as of May. https://maps.app.goo.gl/CpCK3RHZwfz4mZAX6?g_st=ic

Shirehampton is another area that got Axia 3s so far. https://maps.app.goo.gl/G4E5azJknJ3SDAdy7?g_st=ic

In the centre of Bristol on Anchor Road the Urbis Paseos dating from the late
1990s are being replaced by Schreder Citea NG half of the street was replaced as of May 2023, don’t know if the rest have been since.

So another LED replacement scheme not mentioned is Cornwall.
CC has started replacements in July last year. Don’t know what lantern they are using but probably Thorn as that’s what they preferred for LED. https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/transport-p ... tlighting/

That is another PFI That is upgrading to LED.

Cornwall was not subject to a street lighting PFI. Their mass-replacements years ago with CosmoPolis fittings such as Evolos were funded as an "invest-to-save" project. In effect, an LED upgrade represents a second "invest-to-save" project.

I thought they had a PFI.  Looks like the lanterns they are using are Thorn Isaro Pro  https://maps.app.goo.gl/uMUr1S4wMNt9Vnb47?g_st=ic
DW Windsor Kirium were here before so a bit of a waste as they were installed between 2017 & 2019.

Looks like Cornwall is slowly switching to LED now. Queensway has had some of its Urbis Evolos replaced with Thorn Isaro Pros only within the last couple of months, as the Evolos were still present in the May 2023 street view.

Cornwall did announce that they will switch to LED, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire county was “upgraded” by 2024. Prior to this, the council would retrofit certain lanterns with LED gear trays if a discharge lamp failed, so why they couldn’t retrofit the lanterns here is beyond me. As an avid fan of the Urbis Evolo, I’m extremely gutted to hear that they’re slowly being replaced.  :(
