Unusual one this one is. The Channel Islands aren't much of a region but all have seperate governments as such (including sparsely populated Herm, no cars or pushbikes allowed!)

I'll start off with Guernsey around St. Peter's Port (main town on the island) they do use Phosco P222's as well as GEC Fishbowls around the port, I know this because of some photo's on GSV, despite GSV not being available at present. It would help if GSV actually became available so it would make it easier to see what else is used.

Plus from the photo's it does appear that SON is used.

In 2003 the most common lantern in Alderney was the Thorn Beta 79, GRP with deeper bowl mounted on unpainted 5m Stainton octagonal steel columns. There were also a couple of Eleco fluorescents and some unknown SON lanterns which looked a bit like that GEC Solarmaster.

Guernsey's main roads are 50% Mk2 Thorn Alpha 8s, 30% Urbis ZX3s, 14% Mk3 Thorn Alpha 8s but fitted with Mk2 bowls for some unusual reason and 4% Mk3 Thorn Alpha 8s with the right bowl. 1% are Urbis Cabrios and 1% other lanterns.

The smaller roads are mainly GEC and AC Ford lanterns,  a few other lanterns get through though.
