Hi all,

I have introduced myself in the announcements and enquiries area and I also mentioned about the amount of new dayburning Urbis Evolos in Blackpool.

I emailed E-ON yesterday, asking are they remotely switched/group switched.  It would appear they are having a few teething problems with the Harvard Leafnut system as I had this brief reply today:

Quote:
Yes the lanterns are switched via UHF comms. Unfortunately there have been a number of mishaps namely:

Incorrect node number returning from site.

Poor signal from some branch nodes hence dayburning lamps occur.

We are working to improve this situation but at the moment as it is a new system we are not making as fast progress as we would like.

Regards,

Wayne

I look forward to learning more from you guys and hopefully contributing what I can too.

Same as up here in County Durham the ZX2's and Mini Modenas seem to day burn for about a week before they sync with the master node and start working properly and some just dayburn constantly and that uses the LeafNut system.
