But in the Blackpool Transport offcie seems a bit unusual, unless they use power from a parallel feed to the tramway.


Not 100% sure but I think it is. The illuminations and tramway substations are in the same buildings and the same columns are used to hold both the tramway overheads and illuminations along the Promenade.
