Here we showcase the finest streetlighting images that we have to offer. Members can submit what they believe to be the best images they have for a certain period of time, then later the UKASTLE community will vote on these images and the winning image is then displayed here for all to see.

The winning photo for February is of new 'invisible' LED lighting on the A5 in Tamworth. Taken by David, it shows new Philips 'Speedstar' BGP323 lanterns on the A5 dual carriageway in Tamworth taking full cut-off lighting to a whole new level.

The April competition was won by this image by Phosco152, showing a trio of Revo C13721/S "Daleks" on modified Revo Vanguard b12868 harp brackets mounted on Revo cast iron columns. Pictured 26th February 2011, sadly removed by 18th March 2011. Location: Haslemere, Surrey.

It features a WRTL (Industria) 2000 series post-top lantern.

The winning inage our members have chosen for June is by Mazeteam - and is called "Streetlights At Dawn". This image was taken at 5am and features four Urbis K-Lux post top lanterns, and two double installations of Kingfisher Serika lanterns at a Park and Ride site in York.

The pre-selected entries round for July was won by this image by Phosco152, showing a Mackenzie & Moncur cast iron column and Revo Silvergold C13192S open sodium lantern now running 90W SOX but originally 140W SO, in Weymouth.

The photo for August is by Indust - and features a 1950s Eleco HW846 (originally for 60w SO/H but now running 35w SOX) still going strong on its original Eleco column after over 50 years in service. Photographed in June 2011, Neath.
